The Chalet Michaelis, with 250 m² of living space, includes a large 25 m² terrace, a balcony, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 separate toilets, an office, a living room, a bar-living room, a dining room, a ski room, a household room, and a private tunnel (with golf cart). It offers space for up to 10 guests.

Chalet Michaelis is a truly unique and traditional chalet situated in an extraordinary location at an altitude of 1,700 meters at the summit of Lech am Arlberg, Austria.

In 1953, the Michaelis family were one of the first families introducing ski lifts and hotels to the Arlberg region. In 2008 and 2023, the chalet underwent renovations to become an authentic luxury chalet. The typical features of an Alpine chalet have been preserved, and combined with the modern, traditional interior designed by michaelis interiors, which makes Chalet Michaelis truly unique in the Lech am Arlberg region.

The indescribable character and luxury of Chalet Michaelis shine both inside and out, and once you arrive, it is truly difficult to leave. With its enviable location directly on the ski slope/hike trails, a beautifully equipped panoramic terrace, guests will appreciate the luxury of exploring the mountains. Once you reach the private parking area by car or shuttle, the car can be parked securely. Guests access the chalet through a private tunnel with a golf cart that takes them directly to the chalet. Upon arrival, guests can immediately relax and enjoy this magical destination.

With its phenomenal location and direct ski-in/ski-out/trailhead access to Austria's largest ski area, featuring over 300 km of ski runs, 200 km of powder runs and 350km marked hiking trails, as well as the densest selection of gourmet restaurants in Austria, the so-called "Gourmet Village," and a Finnish sauna, mountain enthusiasts can enjoy an unparalleled experience.

Michaelis has been welcoming Chalet Owners guests since 2022.

Offering more than 350km marked hiking, 300 km of on-piste and 200 km of off-piste trails directly from the chalet.

The exclusive location of the house ensures a particularly uncomplicated and unique skiing experience: at the centre of car-free Oberlech am Arlberg and 30 minutes walk to the centre of Lech.

After changing in the in-house ski cellar, you can put on your skis right in front of the front door and reach the adjacent Petersboden lift within a few minutes.

The chalet cannot be reached by car in winter and therefore offers a unique atmosphere. If you arrive by car, it must be noted that in winter this is parked in the garage and the chalet can be reached through the private tunnel access.
