Berlioz is located in the same lotissment as Chalet Brames – known and loved by many of you over countless seasons – and ideally located for chauffeur driven service to the lifts at the Chaudanne or Mottaret – a great place to pick up the lifts if heading further afield to Val Thorne’s and the fourth valley for the day.

So we have taken our experience of running Brames, brought the same levels of pampering (including Ian and Joseph from our last season at Brames) and injected it all into a new state of the art, eco friendly Chalet designed by a very talented young architect – Mathieu Silvestre – to whom we are indebted.

The chalet offers 5 en suite double bedrooms (including master) and a kids bedroom which connects to a parents or nanny’s bedroom but which also boasts its own bathroom. So 10 adults plus 2 kids or 11 adults can nestle happily into the chalet.

The terraces look South East towards the magnificent Mont Vallon and also West to Tougnette which gives an unbelievable panorama from the main drawing room.

The main reception has absorbed that beautifully designed billiard table that many of you enjoyed at Brames, different soft seating areas, an open fireplace plus bar area for relaxing after a day on the hill.

The dining table is offset from the main reception and comfortably sits 12. There is also an outside dining area for wamer spring evenings.

Upstairs the gallery offer a study working area and a large TV and soft seating for those who just want to flop at the end of the day.

Berlioz offers wellness through its stretching, gym and massage area then more with a jacuzzi and sauna located on the outside terrace. The terrace can be accessed directly from bedrooms on the ground floor.

Staffing and service levels will be as exemplary as Brames. Chauffeured access and collection from the pistes, a wonderful chef and support team to guarantee that after a heavy day on the slopes you can simply lie back and enjoy every moment.

Our team of talented chefs are experienced professionals having trained alongside Michelin starred chef’s, worked in some of the finest restaurants in the world, on-board world-renowned super-yachts. Our team is passionate about using locally sourced, seasonal produce and working alongside our valued suppliers your chef will work with you to create an evening menu perfectly tailored to your group.

Children, dietary requirements, and any other specific requests will be discussed prior to your arrival. And even during your stay, the staff will be willing to adapt the menu plan to accommodate your wishes.

We pride ourselves on our high standards of food and considered selection of house wines. Our hospitality begins with a champagne reception on arrival and, thereafter, a selection of house wines that have been hand-picked from local vintners, and where possible, a local artisanal beer is on offer to you during meal times. Your catered ski chalet will be stocked with a selection of complimentary spirits, including Belvedere Vodka, Hendricks Gin and Glenmorangie Whiskey. In addition to the house wines we hold an extensive wine list and we will gladly assist you by providing personally selected wines, which can be ordered prior to your holiday or once you are in resort.

The Chalet is located off the Route Du Mottaret – approximately 400m after La Chaudanne.
