Marco Polo is situated in the heart of the French ski resort of Val d’Isère. Discreetly set back from the main road, it offers dual benefit of privacy and easy access to the town centre.

The chalet comfortably sleeps 10 adults and 4 children in six beautiful en-suite bedrooms. And with over 1000m² of alpine-chic living space, it combines contemporary and traditional materials to create a true masterpiece of style. The expansive living area features an open plan lounge and dining area that is set around a central fireplace. This extends onto a large balcony through glass doors and comes complete with an outdoor kitchen and heated seating; offering breathtaking panoramic views of the notorious La Face piste. For when it is too chilly outside, the bar area is the perfect spot for an après-ski cocktail.

With a whole first floor is dedicated to relaxation and well-being, health and wellness are at the heart of Marco Polo’s offerings. A focus feature of the whole chalet is the generously sized jet stream swimming pool; covered in gold leaf it has been designed by Christain Lacroix.

Adjacent to this is a hot tub and Hammam – and adjoining this – a relaxation area complete with a fireplace and bar, lasers, smoke machines and an entertainment system. Retro racing car game (think Scalextrics for grownups) and Biathlon laser shooting game. To soothe tired limbs, there are two massages room and an automatic hydro massage machine.

Descending into the heart of the chalet there are even more treats in-store. The cave and fromagerie make the ideal setting for a wine and cheese tasting. There is also games and entertainment room, with a pool table and darts board. In addition, the techno gym is equipped with two of everything, so you can workout in pairs.

And if all this was not enough, this Winter Marco Polo landed it’s very own tèlècabine to feature as an über cool ski boot room. In addition, it is home to a new interactive racing car game that will allow for up to 8 players and a biathlon laser shooting game!

Marco Polo is the ultimate chalet for relaxation and some indulgent pampering. It benefits from an entire floor dedicated to your well-being; the jewel in the crown is a beautiful gold leaf swimming pool designed by Christian Lacroix with jet-stream spa jets. In addition, there is also an enormous hot tub, Hammam, large Technogym, two massage rooms, beauty treatment room and even two hydro jet massage beds.

Your chalet spa manager can arrange for you to have a variety of in-chalet treatments to include beauty, physiotherapy or osteotherapy– the perfect recovery for sore and tired limbs after a long day’s skiing.

The owners of chalet Marco Polo wanted to create something really special for the winter 2017/18. The idea was to bring all generations of the family together to enjoy a competitive playing experience. After looking for something special all over the world, they found it in Tokyo international airport. A modern slot car track, suitable for everyone from 5 up to 100 years old to play. Think a proper Scalextric for grown-ups and kids too.

Returning back from their travels they found the number one specialist slot car maker, who creates bespoke handmade tracks from wood. They worked together to create a unique racing circuit just for Chalet Marco Polo, it has a 25m long track, with intelligent racing system suitable for up to 8 players. There is a chronometric system which includes returning your car to the pit lane and 15 different zones where you can overtake. Recently installed in the chalet in the current indoor garden it is ready for guests to battle it out on the track this season.

Also recently newly installed is a real télécabine (cable car) acting as a ski preparation area. A full-sized cable car has been installed in the chalet where your ski fitting service can prepare your ski equipment on a daily basis, very quickly and professionally.

Daily breakfast laid out and cleared away whilst you are not present (cooked options not provided).

We will arrange evening restaurant bookings on your instruction or take-aways from the local restaurants and ensure the dining area is laid out beforehand and cleared away afterwards. Most restaurants are adapting to ‘the new normal’ and are setting up quality cuisine style deliveries.

A range of selected chateau bottled house wines served. Unlimited Perrier-Jouët Champagne. Unlimited open bar stocked with wine, beers, premium spirits and soft drinks, along with bar snacks.

You have the option to bring your own chef/staff from your own bubble to work in the chalet alongside our Manager to enjoy a more comprehensive contact service if required.
