History, beauty and elegance are now fused into this rustic chalet where guests experience supreme wellness, high Alpine cuisine and unique farm history.
For more than 100 years, generations of alpine farmers have lived in the Zillertal region and now this beloved and historic building has a new life for guests. This historic farm is the focal point of activity in the Chalet Resort at 1054 m above sea level. It is a place of gathering, peace and relaxation. A place for social activities as well as a place of retreat. Above all, it is a space for real Zillertal fare – casual and familial, the kind of hearty cuisine you would find in an Austrian alpine hut.
In this luxurious designer Alpine hut, sports, fun, and recreation are at the forefront. Here, the color scheme is set by red and blue tones. The sporty decor, including a games table made of solid oak, leaves nothing to be desired. Sports & fun for families and friends.
Casually Pampered is the key phrase here. This includes the classic holistic approach to bodycare. Each guest chooses exclusive treatments from the wellness menu for a personalized experience in the aromatic Stone Pine Spa. In keeping with the theme of organic and sustainable, naturally uses 100% pure spa products. Martinerhof farmers have always shown a deep respect and loving relationship to nature, and these traditions are highly revered.
It took some effort, but we have converted a Tyrolean hay barn into an elegant work of art. Our guests will see the results for themselves. Old wooden beams, fresh colors, fir wood floors, an open fireplace and windows with sweeping vistas of the Zillertal mountain range. It’s an ambiance of nostalgic comfort combined with contemporary design. In other words, an oasis of creativity and relaxation, but also an ideal location for conferences and seminars.
The place breathes history. With great respect for the craftsmanship of yesteryear, every detail at the alpine farmhouse has been lovingly restored, resulting in a harmonious mix of epochs. Original Tyrolean antique furnishings stand proudly next to modern design pieces – a stunning result that strikes at the heart of interior design, at once grounding and inspiring. The original structure of the historic house was left intact yet modern amenities like lightening-speed glass fiber internet have been integrated.
Sports has been welcoming Chalet Owners guests since 2019.
The new menu features authentic recipes and regional ingredients. Mornings begin with an alpine breakfast of rich, local butter, organic muesli, farm fresh eggs and bacon. Evenings are a three-course affair made with organic ingredients from surrounding fields, farms and forests. Guests will taste the flavors of the alps during their stay with local favorites like the beloved ploughman’s platter (served on a wooden tablet), Zillertal schnapps and „Kaiserschmarrn“ (scrambled pancakes) with prune compote and powdered sugar. Martinerhof guests quickly get used to being pampered by the warm and friendly Tyrolean hosts, a lovely local couple who accommodates every wish.
